A Bulgarian impressionist, living in Matlock, Derbyshire

Creating art simply began as a hobby for me...

Experimenting with different styles of artwork, my teenage years were inspired by the elegance of classic, romantic figures, of Haute Couture fashion designers and I spent hours sketching and learning new styles. 

More recently, I am easily inspired by the stunning landscapes of the Peak District, recreating on canvas the beauty of the hills and meadows where I walk with my family.  My imagination for my next painting is never hard to find as the seasons and landscapes around me change.  Being self taught, my technique has developed steadily over the years and I currently enjoy using oils with brushes and painting knives.

The layers and texture of my paintings add real depth and vibrancy which I hope draws you in and transports you into the moment of the piece!
